Christmas
Project

We have asked the Office of Community Services to give us
the number of children, in each parish that we serve, who
would need to be remembered with a Holiday Gift. This
number does not include the children who will receive gifts
from other programs. We are looking at Foster Care and Group
Home children.
Brave Heart will give as many gifts as
possible. Last year there was a request for 6,000 gifts.
Brave Heart was able to provide 3,340. Each gift sack
contained 5-7 hand wrapped gifts.
We will gladly accept unused Christmas
Wrapping Paper. We plan to start wrapping in July of 2008.
Christmas paper is not available in stores that early in the
year for us to purchase.

We
encourage all donations to be made by Nov 1st. They
can be wrapped; however, the gift will need to be tagged in some
way. On the tag please include Boy/Girl, Age, and what the gift
is. This will help us ensure all children receive an
appropriate gift.
If
you would like to wrap gifts, donate items, or want more
information please call (225)296-0000. Our office hours are
8:30 to 2:30 Monday through Friday.
We thank you for
your help and support! |
