"Run for the Children": Leslie George, Mattie George, Theresa Nereaux, Mechelle Polozola and Ivy Lewis are participating in a half marathon (13.1 miles) in Shreveport, Louisiana on November 8, 2008. Individuals can "run the race" by making a donation to Brave Heart.  After the donations are received the donor's name will be added to the race t-shirts which will be worn during the race. Any donation is accepted. Donations may be made through the Brave Heart office and the girl's will be accepting donations at LSU home games.  Please contact the Brave Heart office or Leslie George for more information.
